Elementary through the very wise actors are needed to fill all the roles in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The various roles can be found on the attached Dramatis Personae. Auditions are May 28 at 6:00!

The Upstage Players Board is hosting auditions for its 2024 summer community
theatre production, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Auditions will be held in
the auditorium at the Upsala High School on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 6 P.M.
Actors are allowed to leave after their audition instead of remaining the entire time,
but plan to arrive with enough time to fill out the audition form. If you had been

Registration for in-district students opens on April 15 and for out of-district students April 19. The program is limited to 30 students. Dinner theatre tickets for Bingo Spells Murder by Robert Mattson are now on sale! Performance dates are January 12 and 13 for dinner theatre and a show and dessert presentation will be presented on January 14 at 2:00. The production will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Upsala. Doors open at 6:00 with dinner being served at 6:30. Tickets must be purchased in advance for the dinner theatre. Tickets are only $30 and includes your choice of baked chicken or roast beef, yukon mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, salad, dinner roll and dessert!

Auditions for the dinner theatre production of Bingo Spells Murder by Robert Mattson will be held on November 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the dinning hall of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Upsala.

The Upstage Players regretfully announce that their planned production of Singin' in the Rain which was scheduled for July 21-24 has been cancelled. They will be producing a murder mystery/comedy towards the end of January and are planning a musical again for next summer.
Upstage Junior is set to perform Finding Nemo on August 11 at 7:00 pm and August 12 at 10:00 am in the Upsala school auditorium. Tickets are only $5 and are available at the door.

Auditions will be held in the media center at the Upsala High School on Monday, May 15 and 16 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. (Actors are allowed to leave after their audition instead of remaining the entire time, but plan to arrive with enough time to fill out the audition form.)
