Auditions are open to high school students and adults of all ages. Whether you’re an experienced performer or stepping onstage for the first time, we welcome you to audition!
When Are Auditions
Auditions for Upstage Players’ Winter One-Act Festival will be held on Monday, November 23, 2026, from 6:00-8:30 PM.
Auditions will be held on a first-come, first-served basis, with each audition taking approximately 7 minutes.
What To Prepare
Auditions will use a general reading format rather than auditions for specific roles. Please review the audition monologues provided in the link below and come prepared to read each of the passages.
Each short reading is designed to showcase a different character style, tone, or emotion. You do not need to memorize the material, but please familiarize yourself with the passages and the directions provided for each one.
You may fill out the audition form at any time before auditions. You can also return to the form and edit your responses whenever needed using the same link.
When completing the form, please be as specific as possible about your schedule and any potential conflicts. This production may occasionally deviate from our standard rehearsal schedule, so having accurate availability information will help us plan rehearsals and casting.
