The Upstage Players are proud to present The Foreigner by Larry Shue.Saturday, January 25th @ 7:30 pmSunday, January 26th @ 2:00 pmMonday, January 27th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $8 adults, $7 seniors, & $7 students.  They are available at the door. The story takes place in a fishing lodge in Georgia.  Enter Froggy LeSeuer and his good friend Charlie.  Charlie is shy, so Froggy tells the owner that Charlie is a foreigner and doesn't speak English.  Charlie hears all types of interesting tidbits by the locals as they reveal their secrets and plans without a concern

Auditions for The Foreigner

Auditions for the comedy The Foreigner will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 7:00pm.  We especially need male actors.  The cast is 5 men and 2 women.  If you would like to be involved in this or other productions, whether acting, backstage, sound, props, etc., please let us know.

Winter show announced!

The Foreigner will be presented January 25-26-27, 2014, directed by Renee Scholz.  Written by Larry Shue, The Foreigner is a perpetually popular comedy about Charlie Baker, an Englishman pretending he cannot understand English, and his friend Staff Sergeant Froggy LeSueur, as they vacation at a fishing resort in Georgia run by Betty Meeks.  Check back often for details!

Spotlight: Directors of Phantom of the Country Opera

Leonice Prokott co-directed Phantom; solo directed Death by Chocolate; and was assistant director for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.  She has been a member of the Upstage Players since the group started in 2004.  During that time, she has participated in all but one show.  She is currently President of the Upstage Arts Board.
