The Upstage Players are in deep rehearsal for "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. The show is based on the famous Peanuts cartoon strip by Charles Schulz. You will see all of your favorite charactors - Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally, Snoppy and of course Charlie Brown. There will even be appearances by Woodstock and the little-red-haired girl. Mark your calendars! Show dates are Friday, July 25th at 7:30, Saturday, July 26th at 7:30, Sunday, July 27th at 2:00 and Monday, July 28th at 7:30.

The first set of open auditions for "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" are tonight at 7 p.m. in the Upsala High School music room. Auditions will also be held next Sunday, May 18th at 7 p.m. No experience is needed. You only need to attend one of the two auditions. We would love to see you there!

The Upsala Upstage Players announce open auditions for the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" by Clark Gesner. No previous experience is needed to audition. "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" is a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schultz in his comic strip Peanuts. Three women and three men are needed plus Snoopy (can be played either by a man or woman). Additional performers are needed for chorus, ball teams, etc. All ages encouraged. Auditions will be held at 7 p.m.
